AUSTIN - In a show of support for Texas parks, Rep. Dennis Bonnen has joined over 70 House Republicans and Democrats as a coauthor of HB 6: The Texas Parks Restoration Act.
To prepare for the 80th Session, Rep. Bonnen and his entire staff made a tour of District 25 cities and school districts before the session began, meeting with mayors, city managers, city councilmen, school administrators and school board members.
As part of the dedication ceremony for West Brazos Junior High, State Representative Dennis Bonnen presented a Texas flag from the state capitol to principal Chuck Rylander.
State Representative Dennis Bonnen served as master of ceremonies for the annual Junior Achievement Hall of Fame banquet on September 14.
Rep. Bonnen joined board members, co-workers and community friends of Youth and Family Counseling to honor retiring executive director Diana Fleming at a special retirement reception held in Angleton September 28.
AUSTIN - State Representative Dennis Bonnen (R - Angleton) is very pleased that a portion of the major school legislation passed during the recent special session also includes a provision where children of active-duty military members can attend state-funded pre-kindergarten programs in Texas.
